What is Yakitori: Yakitori is a Japanese type of skewered chicken. The yakitori-ya are the small shops in which Yakitori is sold in small shops and also it is offered at take-out services only along with sit-down restaurants chains are also popular. It is not only limited to speciality shops but it is made by commoners as well. The food was made popular by Hotei Foods corporation along with nine flavors of 2016. The TV commercial song has been iconic to their brand name.

The design of convenience and portability in making Yakitori makes it some of the popular food with easy to make through portable charcoal grills. To facilitate the cooking the meat is first cut into small roughly uniform shapes and then skewered with Kushi and the seasoned and cooked food is presented.

How to make the Yakitori (Food recipe): Now-a-days American chefs are also making it popular with literally meaning of grilled chicken. The simple name does not begin to describe variety, complexity along with deep cultural significance of Japan being the favorite grilled meat. The food can be called the epitome of Japanese barbecue and also some of the best in terms of Asian fast food.

Here is the recipe of making Yakitori along with the ingredients:

. 1/4 cup sake ( Rice Wine)

. 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce

. 3 tablespoons sugar

. 2 tablespoons grated peeled fresh ginger

. 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

. 2 garlic cloves, minced

. 1 pound skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into 24 bite-seized pieces

. 5 green onions, each cut into 4 ( 2 inch) pieces

How to make it:

. Combine first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan. Bringing the chicken to a boil along with cooking until it is reduced to 1/4 cup about 2 1/2 minutes and removing from heat after which cooling it.

. Combining of soy sauce mixture and the chicken along with covering and marinating in refrigerator for 1 hour.

. Heating a large grill pan over the medium-high heat.

. Thread 6 chicken cubes and 5 green onion pieces alternately onto each of the 4 ( 10-inch) skewers. Brush the kebabs with soy mixture along with coating the pan with cooking spray. Place the kebabs in pan and cook it for 4 minutes on each of the side or until the chicken is done.

In this way, one of the most tastier and delicious food recipe is made to serve the people with hard-boiled quail eggs and thus garnishing it with coriander leaves and onions which makes the dish more flavorful to relish.
