About Nara:- Nara is an ancient capital city in Nara Perfecture which is the Kansai region of Japan. In the year 2010 the city has celebrated its 1300th anniversary. The capital of Japan between 710-784 A.D. with Nara flourishing under the influence of Buddhism which creates an enormous number of cultural assets. It is another part of the area which is developed as a merchant town which is notably in the Edo period and is known as Naramachi. Nara prefecture has the distinction of having more UNESCO World heritage listings than any other prefecture making it a must-see list and you’ve got yourself a great day in Nara.

Nara is a compact city packed with first-rate sights and it includes the famous Daibutsu( Great Buddha) and at Toda-ji Temple along with Kasuga-Taisha shrine. The focal point of the Todai-Ji is the Daibutsu-Den( Hall of the great Buddha) along with a 16 metre high Buddha which really seems to exude some form of spiritual energy. The other beautiful place is Isui-en Garden and is a spacious stroll garden with plenty of blooming flowers and trees. Isui-en Garden is conveniently located on the way from train stations to Toda-ji Temple along with pedestrian underpass and also it incorporates the roof of Todai-ji temple with the background of garden. Kasuga Taisha shrine is another buildings which is a mysterious expanse of pathways lined with stone lanterns along with smaller sub-shrines and atmospheric forests along with present deer in such hangouts. The Nara Koen park is the expanse of tree along with open spaces that extends East from downtown Nara and Naramichi with the base of the hills which rise east of the city. You can also buy a pack of deer crackers which can be very aggressive along with when you try to get them out of the hands. The Nigatsu-do Hall which is free to explore and there is a small rest area on the North side of the hall where one can get free tea to drink.

So, it is a great place to enjoy the beautiful Nara city and one can find easy way to reach by train through JR Nara Line along with Kintetsu kyoto Line will get you to Nara quickly. Also, the Kansai International Airport or Osaka’s Itami Airport which is for domestic flights is the nearest one as Nara does not have its own airport.
